All 16 Storage Hunters Accessories Tier List
Updated:
Complete accessory guide for Storage Hunters: Open World — every catalogued head, wrist, and back-slot item, base sell prices, equipped-bonus framing, and the chase priority players actually use.
1. What Are Storage Hunters Accessories?
Accessories in Storage Hunters: Open World are equipable items that grant stat bonuses while worn and carry a base sell price if you choose to flip them through your shop. They are catalogued in three slots — head, wrist, and back — and currently sixteen are documented on the public wiki at the time of writing. Base sell prices span $40 (Cardboard Hat, head) to $15,000 (Gangster Dominus, head), which makes the accessory roster the highest-base item class in the entire game.

4. Accessory Slots Explained
Equipped stat bonuses fall into nine community-confirmed categories: luck, energy drink duration, tip chance, walkspeed, vehicle speed, bid recovery, bid zone width, bid arrow speed, and NPC offer bonuses. The categories are documented; the per-accessory bonus values within those categories are NOT publicly documented at the time of writing — every catalogued accessory carries the same boilerplate framing on its detail page noting that "per-accessory bonus values are still being catalogued." This is the single most important fact about the accessory system to internalise before chasing high-priced items: the equip-side stat difference between a $565 Scrap Dominus and a $15,000 Gangster Dominus is not proven by public data.
Head slot (10 catalogued). The largest slot by item count. Includes the chase-tier Gangster Dominus ($15,000), Bear Cap ($13,500), and Gangster Valk ($7,500); the mid-tier Skull Domino Crown ($4,500) and Rider Helmet ($800); and the budget-tier Scrap Dominus ($565), Straw Hat ($220), Party Hat ($120), Fruit Skin Helmet ($60), and Cardboard Hat ($40). Head is the slot with the widest price ladder and the only slot where the chase-tier items push into five-figure territory.
Wrist slot (5 catalogued). The second-populated slot. C4 Wristband ($12,500) and Pink Watch ($8,500) lead the chase tier; Spike Wristband ($2,600) is the mid-game pick per the best-accessories.mdx guide; Safe Wristband ($475) and Flower Wristband ($750) cover the budget end. Wrist follows the same chase / mid / budget structure as head, but with a tighter overall price range.

5. Best Accessories by Slot
Head slot picks.By base sell price, the chase order is Gangster Dominus ($15,000) → Bear Cap ($13,500) → Gangster Valk ($7,500). For the mid-progression upgrade target, best-accessories.mdx names Skull Domino Crown ($4,500) explicitly: "upgrade head to Scrap Dominus next, then push toward Skull Domino Crown once you can afford Farmyard auctions reliably." The budget-tier head pick is Scrap Dominus ($565) — the lowest-priced Dominus-styled head and the only accessory with a documented Junk Yard drop per area-progression.mdx.
Wrist slot picks.By base sell price, the chase order is C4 Wristband ($12,500) → Pink Watch ($8,500). For the mid-progression upgrade target, best-accessories.mdx names Spike Wristband ($2,600) explicitly: "Mid-game pick is Spike Wristband ($2,600)." The budget-tier wrist picks are Safe Wristband ($475) and Flower Wristband ($750).
Back slot:No back accessories catalogued in our wiki as of June 2026. The slot exists in-game but item drops are not yet documented. We'll update this section as community findings come in.
Why this ranking is by price, not by stat package:the per-accessory equipped-bonus values are not publicly documented at the time of writing. Best-accessories.mdx is explicit that "the equipped-bonus difference between $565 and $15,000 head items isn't verified to be 26x." The honest framing of the chase ladder is therefore based on base sell price (verified) and on community-named progression milestones (verified via the guide), not on a stat-bonus optimisation that public data does not support.
6. How to Get Accessories
Accessories drop from auction lockers across the four-area progression. Drop rates and per-accessory drop area mappings are not exhaustively documented in publicly available community sources at the time of writing — the single documented exception is Scrap Dominus, which area-progression.mdx flags as a Junk Yard drop despite its Exclusive classification.
The practical chase strategy is the same as for high-tier mutations: volume play in the area with the highest base bid floor you can afford to absorb. Shipyard auctions have the highest bid floors, but they also contain Exclusive-class accessory drops. Farmyard and Back Alley are the realistic chase environments for mid-tier accessories (Skull Domino Crown, Spike Wristband). Junk Yard remains the only documented drop area for the budget-tier Scrap Dominus, which makes early-game accessory chasing more achievable than the chase-tier numbers suggest.
Mutation interaction: accessories receive mutations the same way every other item does. Because base prices on accessories are the highest in the game, the additive mutation math earns out most clearly here — the mutation-strategy guide's canonical worked example uses Scrap Dominus + Void = $19,775 specifically because the accessory class is where Void-tier rolls translate into meaningful absolute dollars on a budget-priced item. Use the Mutation Stacker calculator to model any stack on any catalogued accessory before chasing the rolls.
7. Auction & Selling Strategy
The equip-or-sell decision. Every accessory pull forces a choice: equip it to capture the (undocumented-value) stat bonus categories, or sell it through the shop to capture the verified base price plus any mutation multiplier rolled on the item. The right answer depends on bankroll state and on whether the accessory has a useful mutation. A mutation-less Gangster Dominus is worth $15,000 raw; a Gangster Dominus + Void roll is worth $525,000 raw — the second outcome is hard to turn down even for players who would otherwise equip the accessory.
Auction-bid discipline.Chase-tier accessory pulls require chase-tier auction bids. The area-progression guide's warning applies here: a single lost bid on a Shipyard Exclusive-locker auction can erase several Back Alley or Farmyard sessions of profit. Conservative play means building a bankroll buffer that absorbs at least one bad chase-tier auction before pushing for the top items.
Where mutation rolls matter most.Because accessories are the highest-base item class in the game, mutation multipliers compound here to produce the largest absolute dollar gains in the loot loop. The mutation-strategy guide explicitly identifies Exclusive accessories as "the highest-mutation rolls because their base price is already 100–15,000x typical junk items." A Scrap Dominus ($565) with a single Void mutation pays out more than any vanilla Exclusive accessory; a Gangster Dominus ($15,000) with the same Void roll pays out more than any single item in the game.
8. Common Mistakes
- Chasing Gangster Dominus before Shipyard income. Best-accessories.mdx specifically warns against this — the bid floors for $15,000-base Exclusive auctions erase several lower-area sessions on a single bad call. Build the bankroll first.
- Assuming the equipped-bonus values scale with base price. They might. They might not. Public data does not support the assumption — the best-accessories.mdx guide explicitly flags the $565 vs $15,000 head difference as "not verified to be 26x."
- Treating Scrap Dominus as a beginner trap. It is the opposite — a documented Junk Yard drop with high enough base price to fund Back Alley progression, and the canonical mutation-stacking example in the strategy guide.
- Equipping high-base accessories without considering mutation rolls. A Void roll on Gangster Dominus pays $525,000 raw — that is a sell-side decision worth at least running the Mutation Stacker calculator on before equipping.
- Ignoring the wrist slot. Wrist has only 5 catalogued accessories but the chase tier (C4 Wristband at $12,500, Pink Watch at $8,500) has the same earning potential as the head chase tier — and competition for wrist auctions can be lower because the slot is less covered in community discussion.
