Best Accessories — Head, Back, and Wrist Slot Picks

Storage Hunters: Open World uses three accessory slots: head, back, and wrist. Sixteen accessories are catalogued so far, with base sell prices spanning $40 (Cardboard Hat) to $15,000 (Gangster Dominus). Two things matter when picking: the base sell price if you ever resell, and the stat bonus you get while wearing it.

Stat Bonus System

The community has confirmed that accessories grant one or more of the following bonuses while equipped: luck, energy drink duration, tip chance, walkspeed, vehicle speed, bid recovery, bid zone width, bid arrow speed, and NPC offer bonuses. Per-accessory bonus values are still being catalogued — we update each accessory's detail page as community data comes in.

Head Slot (10 catalogued)

The head slot has the most options. Top three by base price are Gangster Dominus ($15,000), Bear Cap ($13,500), and Gangster Valk ($7,500). For early game, Rider Helmet ($800) and Scrap Dominus ($565) are achievable goals. Beginners should not chase Gangster Dominus until they have steady Shipyard-tier income — the equipped-bonus difference between $565 and $15,000 head items isn't verified to be 26x.

Back Slot

The back slot inventory is still being documented. None of the 16 catalogued accessories so far is back-slotted in the verified data — expect this section to expand as community confirms back-specific items.

Wrist Slot (5 catalogued)

C4 Wristband ($12,500) and Pink Watch ($8,500) lead. Mid-game pick is Spike Wristband ($2,600). Budget wrist: Safe Wristband ($475) or Flower Wristband ($750).

Recommended Early-Game Build

For under $1,000 total invested in accessories: Rider Helmet for head ($800), nothing yet for back, Safe Wristband for wrist ($475). Total $1,275 — well within reach after a couple of solid Back Alley auction wins. Upgrade head to Scrap Dominus next, then push toward Skull Domino Crown ($4,500) once you can afford Farmyard auctions reliably.
