Vehicles Overview

Storage Hunters: Open World has roughly 20 catalogued vehicles, ranging from the 3 Wheel Car and Scooter at the entry tier to the Long-Haul Truck and Private Jet at the Shipyard tier. Each vehicle has a maximum cargo weight that gates how much of an auction win you can haul home in a single trip.

The detailed breakdown — per-vehicle weight ceilings, speed, terrain handling, and the cost of unlocking each — is being catalogued and will publish here. Community data is still thin on some of the rare vehicle pages, so we're holding the publish bar at "verified two ways" before going wide.

For now, the rule of thumb is that the +50% Car Weight Increase gamepass lifts the cargo-weight ceiling on every vehicle you own — so it pays back faster on a small fleet than buying an extra heavier vehicle outright. The Free Vehicle Customization gamepass only matters once you actually own multiple vehicles and care about visuals, so skip it early.
