Stores Guide

Storage Hunters: Open World has five in-game stores you can use between an auction win and reselling at your shop: the Grading Store, the Cleaning Store, the Repair Store, the Vehicle Customization Store, and the Trailer Store. Each one transforms an item or vehicle in a specific way that can change its final sell price.

The full per-store walkthrough — cost per item, condition tiers the Grading Store can shift you between, what the Cleaning Store does to a Dirty mutation, and when the Repair Store pays back vs. just reselling broken — is being written. We're working through a verified pass of each store's in-game effects before publishing the longer guide.

For now, the safe takeaway is: always run high-base-price items through the Grading Store before listing them (the Lucky Grading gamepass meaningfully improves outcomes); use the Repair Store only on items priced above the repair cost (most junk-tier loot isn't worth repairing); and the Vehicle Customization Store is purely cosmetic unless you have the Free Vehicle Customization gamepass.
